Monday Morning Photo(S) Missoni Style

Each year the Academy of Art University’s School of Fashion honors esteemed guest to their Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony, this year they will be honoring three generations of the Missoni’s, we have posted several Missoni Home projects including the Missoni Hotel in Kuwait (click here to see the post) and their collaboration with retailer Target. The brand expanded to their Missoni Home project a few years back, Their main concept for their home line is “Life choiches and lifestyles”.  They’ve been expanding from fabrics to furnishings and now hotels. According to Rosita Missoni’s creative philosophy, “…the home is alive. It’s constantly evolving and never finished”. Her personal vision of the home atmosphere and furnishings has coloured the Missoni Home brand. Unusual, captivating fabrics; innovative, simple shapes for sophisticated settings; a feeling of artiness but with a light touch.
